Situated within the Pearl River Delta, bordering Macau and only a 70 minute ferry away from Hong Kong, Zhuhai makes for an excellent weekend break or as a great starting or end point to a larger China trip. Roughly translated as ‘Pearl of the Sea’ and nicknamed ‘City of Lovers’ or ‘City of a Hundred Islands’, we’re proud to call Zhuhai home and want to share more of what this fun city has to offer.

Zhuhai is developing quickly with new options for entertainment, dining and tourism being added all the time to the city’s repertoire. Not so quickly, however, that you cannot still find pockets of the city little unchanged, offering a glimpse into the past of what used to be a small sleepy border town and fishing port.
